The German digital health platform Humanoo has acquired the French platform WePulse to gain a foothold in France. Both serve the enterprise market and provide exercise tracking and incentives. As of next year, under the Humanoo brand, the two companies will be handling the traffic of some 500,000 European users in 300 companies, among them Deutsche Bank, Axel Springer, Media Saturn, UPS, Coca-Cola, Kaspersky, Würth, Helsana, Mobiliar, AOK, Gothaer, Nürnberger Versicherung, BNP Paribas, Nike, Go Sport, Klésia, Batigere and the City of Paris. Andy Gugenheimer, the chief executive behind WePulse, will be carrying on with his sports-industry management headhunting business, AG Sport Consulting, and his bag brand, MUB (My Utility Bag). AG’s job board, Sportyjob, is now available in Spanish (Italian is to come) and has established connections with business schools. It will be refocusing on the “digital needs of the brands and e-commerce players” while also expanding into e-sports. Meanwhile, MUB will be launching its Milady Premium bag on Kickstarter in August and opening a first mono-brand store, in Hong Kong, in September.
