As reported by BusinessLive, JD Sports has drawn up plans to build a new corporate HQ in Greater Manchester. The proposed 2.3-hectare site is next to the current headquarters and expected to include 8,045 square meters of gross floor area and 172 parking spaces. According to documents filed with the Bury council, the new construction would allow JD Sports to increase the number of staff from around 1,300 to 2,000. According to plans submitted, the building would also include a gym, restaurant, nursery and outdoor sports facilities.
