Italian sportswear brand Macron is investing in a new project that will see the construction of two new buildings in an area alongside its current headquarters in Valsamoggia, near the city of Bologna.
The new campus will be a multifunctional complex featuring offices, showrooms, areas for material testing, production facilities and new areas for storage and the shipping of finished products. The overall headquarters complex will nearly double, from 55,000 to around 100,000 square meters. The expansion is meant to provide improved functionality, efficiency, employee wellbeing and development, the company said.
According to the local edition of Corriere della Sera, the expansion project is worth €25 million.
