Puma has unveiled the Puma Nitrolab, a new high-performance athlete testing facility developed in partnership with Hartmann Orthopedics & Sports. The facility, based at Hartmann’s near Frankfurt, provides athletes with detailed full-body insights through a series of tests and scans, including 4D Motion analysis. The results help develop customized solutions for each athlete. Puma’s roster of elite athletes will be regular visitors to the facility for performance testing and analysis, said Puma. Italian athlete Marcell Jacobs, the current 100m men’s world, European and Olympic champion, was one of the first to use the facility in February. The Puma Nitrolab is also accessible to the public, allowing runners of all levels to try to improve their performance. The lab was unveiled to the media on March 9 at a special event featuring Puma athletes from the past and present.
