Spanish athletic footwear retail chain Oteros Sport, which entered bankruptcy in September 2022 due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, has announced that it has been authorized by a commercial court in Cordoba to continue its operations. The company is therefore maintaining its 66 locations and 249 jobs and is also drawing an expansion plan. The retailer has just opened a new store in Cordoba and plans new store openings both in Spain and abroad over the next few months.
Oteros Sport’s retail presence is currently limited to Spain. Founded in Cordoba in 1993, Oteros Sport has since been expanding throughout Spain, notably in Andalusia, where it has the majority of its stores, as well as Extremadura, Valencian Community, Catalonia and Madrid.
