Bologna-based teamwear brand Macron has opened a US office in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Giovanni Maruzzi, the company’s Chief Sales Officer and CEO of Macron US, and Angelo Marino, Macron’s Director of Communications, attended the official ceremony. 

Macron’s new US headquarters has an area of approximately 2,000 sqm. It includes a warehouse with a stocking capacity of around 300,000 items, an office area and two showrooms for its Teamwear and Performance collections.

The company said in a statement that the opening of the facility in Bridgeport is part of its plan to launch new projects and prestigious partnerships in the US while further expanding its business throughout the country.

Macron saw its sales increase by 15.7 percent to €196.6 million in 2023. All its three main lines of business recorded double-digit growth: Teamwear (+21 percent), Individual lines (+23 percent) and Pro Clubs (+11 percent). The company, which has a workforce of over 300 people, generates more than 80 percent of its sales outside of Italy. It has a retail network of 176 Macron Sports Hubs in different countries and its products are also sold in around 850 multibrand stores. The brand sponsors more than 90 professional clubs in a wide range of sports.
