Lululemon has found its key partner for one of the world’s largest markets, a partnership that will commence in the second half of 2026.

Lululemon already operates in over 30 markets and continues to strengthen its footprint across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and China Mainland.

Lululemon is set to make its foray into the Indian market in the second half of 2026, having selected Tata CLiQ as its franchise partner.

As part of the agreement, Lululemon will open its first physical store in India and establish an online presence on Tata CLiQ Luxury and Tata CLiQ Fashion.

In addition to its retail offerings, Lululemon plans to foster brand loyalty by organizing community-driven events and wellness activities aimed at engaging local audiences and promoting movement and connection.

Market expansion is a key pillar of Lululemon’s Power of Three ×2 growth strategy, which aims to achieve two-fold growth. The brand currently operates in over 30 markets and continues to strengthen its presence in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and China.

Given the rising demand for premium athleisure and wellness-focused fashion in India, Lululemon aims to tap into the country’s growing consumer base by leveraging an offline presence, digital platforms, and experiential retail.
