VF Corp. is cutting more jobs, Footwear News has reported. The company, which owns Vans, The North Face and many other popular brands, declined to comment on the exact number of employees but did confirm that another step in its reorganization plan is currently in progress. The new round of job cuts involves select commercial functions globally, to align with the company’s announced turnaround strategy, explained VF in a statement sent to Footwear News.
VF is also about to shut down its distribution center in Martinsville, Virginia, resulting in dozens of employees losing their jobs. According to Footwear News, the facility will close in March, with layoffs beginning in January ahead of the closure.
VF Corp. will release its third quarter fiscal 2025 financial results on Jan. 29, 2025.
