New Wave Group AB confirmed it has finalized the acquisition of Austrian textile wholesaler Cotton Classics Handels GmbH, following regulatory approval. The transfer will take effect Sept. 1. The deal, first announced June 18, carries a purchase price of €47.6 million in cash on a debt- and cash-free basis. Cotton Classics reported €96.7 million in revenue for 2024.
“We are pleased to officially welcome Cotton Classics to the New Wave family,” said Torsten Jansson, CEO and founder of New Wave Group, noting the company’s strong market presence and B2B e-commerce platform. He added that combining both firms’ brands and expertise will create additional value.
New Wave Group, headquartered in Sweden, owns a portfolio of brands across corporate promo, sports and leisure markets.
