SIA and EOG, the two leading trade groups from North America and Europe, seek to expand member benefits and improve global collaboration.
Snowsports Industries America (SIA) and the European Outdoor Group (EOG) announced a new strategic partnership designed to strengthen transatlantic collaboration and broaden access to industry resources for their members. The agreement aims to foster deeper cooperation between North America’s winter sports sector and Europe’s outdoor industry. Under the partnership, members of each association will receive selected benefits from the other, including reports, newsletters, summit discounts and regulatory briefings. For example, EOG voting members will gain access to SIA’s Consumer Anticipation Report and Compliance Alliance resources. In return, SIA premium members can access EOG’s market data, policy updates and sustainability initiatives such as the Carbon Reduction and Single Use Plastics Projects. Members also have the option to purchase an “International Add-On Membership” for $500, granting full access to the partner association’s premium resources, subject to review.
“This partnership is a significant step toward empowering our members to further strengthen and grow their businesses,” said Nick Sargent, SIA President. EOG President David Ekelund added that “cross-Atlantic collaboration is essential for tackling the challenges and seizing the opportunities facing our sector.”
SIA, based in Park City, Utah, represents the North American winter sports industry, while EOG, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, includes over 100 European outdoor brands and retailers. Together, the organizations aim to improve global competitiveness and drive sustainable progress across the broader outdoor and snow sports industries.
