CORRECTION: Contrary to what was reported in our previous issue, the 12.3 percent sales increase achieved by Asics in Europe did not include Haglöfs, the Swedish outdoor brand it acquired last July. Haglöfs is included in the global turnover reported by the Japanese company for the fiscal year ended last March, but not in the figures provided separately by Asics Europe for its own sales in the full calendar year 2010. The 12.3 percent increase therefore represents the reported sales growth achieved by the Asics brand alone in Europe, including regular Asics and Onitsuka Tiger ranges.
