Courir, the athletic footwear chain of the Go Sport Group, has launched a new concept for its stores around sneakers labelled “Wood.” Conceived by the French agency Carré Noir, the stores that use the new Wood concept feature a giant screen, to show the highlights of the period, as well as an interactive mirror and a “Selfeet board,” which allows customers to take photos of their favorite sneakers. Women's shoes play an important role in the Wood concept, with a larger offer of women's models, although men's sneakers are also present. The Wood concept has been implemented so far in two Courir stores in Paris, but is expected to be expanded to more stores by the end of this year.
