In early May, the German subsidiary of the New Wave Group, New Wave GmbH, restructured its management and appointed long-time employees Felix Lechner (formerly COO) and Markus Müller (formerly Head of Marketing) to the executive management. At the same time, Alexander Kluge was promoted to Sales Manager Teamsport and Alexander Leipold to Sales Manager Retail/Collection. In addition to corporate management, Lechner has since been in charge of logistics & in-house, while Müller focuses on sales & marketing. Jens Petersson, SVP Sports & Leisure and member of the supervisory board of New Wave Group, will support the two as registered managing director from the company’s headquarters in Sweden.
Lechner has already spent over 12 years with New Wave. After working for the company during his professional training and studies, he took over all logistics processes at New Wave GmbH in 2019 and then served as Business Development Manager. In 2021, he took over the management of all operational processes within New Wave GmbH as COO and became part of the management team around the former management as an authorized signatory. Müller has been with New Wave for five years, focusing on Craft Sportswear, and before that, he worked in various communications and marketing agencies. Since 2018, he served as Marketing Manager and later as Head of Marketing for Craft.
