The Confederation of Professional Golf (CPG) and Ryder Cup European Development Trust have joined with the PGA of Ukraine to create a campaign that will help the PGA members and families who have been displaced by Russia’s war in their country. The campaign will drive donations via a GoFundMe campaign called “PGA of Ukraine Member Support” at https://rctru.st/ukraine, with 100 percent of donations after processing fees being made available. The funds will be used to help with transport, relocation and accommodation, communications, medical supplies, food and clothing. Support efforts are not limited to financial aid. Accommodation and employment support, for example, will be sourced throughout the international network of PGAs and PGA Members. In addition to assisting with immediate needs, the campaign also has the long-term goal of supporting a safe return to Ukraine and re-establishing the country’s infrastructure and golf community.
