Allbirds has provided an update to its main CSR plans on its website, giving an overview on achievements, changes and objectives settled in its sustainability report that was published in October 2022. Important notes are the new RSL list that will launch to Allbird’s suppliers in Q4, 2022, including guiding principles to reduce environmental impact and monitoring mechanisms and the requirement for all T2 suppliers to disclose their environmental performance through the Higg facility environmental module (FEM) and verify it within the first three years.
Allbirds has also launched a diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) website that went live in October 2022 and works on a dedicated LinkedIn page to share its DEIB progress. Furthermore, all employees will have access to DEIB training in January 2023.
An analysis of the stakeholder’s wages is conducted with Living Wage for US, which should result in a roadmap to pay a living wage to all employees by the end of 2023. More details on the Allbirds CSR updates can be found in the release on the company website.
