Burton has announced its successful recertification as a Certified B Corporation, a widely recognized accolade that sets the gold standard for businesses committed to making a positive impact. To maintain its B Corp certification, Burton undergoes a thorough B Impact Assessment process every three years. This assessment evaluates various aspects, ranging from the company’s operations and business model to its impact on workers, the community, the environment and customers, as well as supply chain practices, employee benefits, and charitable contributions.
Despite the increased standards set by B Lab, the organization responsible for conducting the certification, since 2019, Burton has improved its score significantly by 18 percent.
