Gildan Activewear has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index (DJSI North America) for the 12th consecutive year. The inclusion in the Index was announced on Dec. 23, 2024. Gildan was the only apparel manufacturing company included in the DJSI North America.
The Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index comprises North American sustainability leaders as identified by S&P Global through the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).
The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) measure the performance of companies selected with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance & Economic) criteria using a best-in-class approach. The DJSI benchmarks are comprised of three geographical breakdowns: DJSI World, DJSI Regions and DJSI Countries.
