Gore‑Tex Kidswear has (rather quietly) rolled out a “subscribe and swap” outerwear service for children ages 5 to 10, allowing parents to access premium jackets for approximately €25 per month. Through this circular commerce model, customers can return jackets when their child outgrows them and exchange them for new sizes or styles, while Gore‑Tex handles cleaning, repairs, insurance and reprocessing.

The service is powered by Supercycle’s Cycles platform and is currently being piloted in Europe. Gore‑Tex positions the model as addressing the fast turnover inherent in children’s clothing, extending product life, reducing waste and making premium outerwear more accessible to families. The launch builds on prior initiatives by Gore-Tex and its licensees, who have experimented with rental or re-commerce models.

You can find more details about the program at our sister publication oicompass.com.
