Idris Elba’s non-profit apparel brand Don’t Stab Your Future has designed an exclusive variation of the Nike Air Force One in collaboration with NFL coach Aden Durde as part of the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats initiative. The shoe features the words “Don’t Stab Your Future” on the Nike swoosh and shoe, as well as London zip codes where knife crime is rampant. The shoe is being auctioned to raise funds for the London-based charity Big Kid Foundation, which works to combat social exclusion and youth violence.
The “My Cause My Cleats” initiative is taking place for the seventh consecutive year. It involves NFL players and coaches wearing custom-painted cleats or shoes that highlight a chosen charity or cause that is closest to their hearts.
