LimeLight Sports Group (LSG), the U.K.-based producer of multisport and running events, has teamed up with carbon removals platform Carbon Char Store in what is described as “an industry-first collaboration.” The event organizer is committing to all LSG Club-owned events being carbon neutral by 2023. The innovative collaboration aims to neutralize the carbon footprint through measured and verified carbon removal across the LSG Club portfolio of events, which includes Etape Caledonia, Hackney Moves, Blenheim Palace Triathlon, ASICS London 10K, London Triathlon, London Duathlon and Oxford Half Marathon. Carbon Char Store will utilize its carbon dioxide removals to equal or exceed the associated emissions of the LSG 2023 events.
