Pádel Nuestro is lending a hand to Spanish environmental non-profit, Asociación de Naturalistas del Sureste (Association of Southeast Naturalists, or ANSE) in its efforts to restore a saltwater lagoon off Murcia. Tons of fish died in the Mar Menor (Minor Sea), as the lagoon is called, in the autumn of 2019 and the summer of 2021; victims of anoxia.
The company and association have set up a “Project to Restore the Marchamalo Salt Flats and Their Biodiversity.” Pádel Nuestro will be raising funds on- and offline, dispatching volunteers to help clean up the lagoon and organizing a tournament this September at its pádel club in Puente Tocinos.
