Known for outerwear made exclusively with animal-free and “cruelty-free” materials, Save the Duck was,in June of last year, the first Italian fashion company to receive B Corp certification for the sustainability of its products and processes. In contrast with Moncler or Canada Goose, it produces its stylish jackets and parkas for women, men and children from recycled plastic bottles. According to Outdoormag, the company is in line to reach a turnover of €35.5 million this year, with an Ebitda margin of 20 percent, thanks to strong investments made in physical and online retailing since it was taken over by an investment company, Progressio, in March of 2018. It started up with a first mono-brand store in Milan two years ago, and it opened on Sept. 16 a flagship at a more prestigious location at 3, via Dante.
