Save The Duck, the Italian animal-free brand of outerwear, has received a €3 million S-Loan (Sustainability Loan) from the Italian Intesa Sanpaolo bank. The company will use the loan to progress toward two leading sustainability objectives. The first is to launch a “green” supply policy throughout its entire supply chain, prioritizing products and services with a lower environmental impact. The second objective is connected with the share of customers and suppliers involved in the adoption of “green” practices through specific programs. The loan is to be paid back over a 72-month period. In July 2019, Save The Duck was the first Italian fashion company to obtain B Corp certification for its sustainability practices.
