Of the $3.85 million in grants awarded, 35 percent supported sustainability efforts, including regenerative agriculture projects in Haiti and Turkey, and circular fashion initiatives led by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Another 30 percent supported education, job training and economic development.

Grants also fueled grassroots organizations like Skateistan, which expanded sport-based education in underserved communities in eight countries, and 4DWN in Dallas, Texas, where a vertical skate farm now teaches youth about food systems. Meanwhile, No Barriers and SOS Outreach helped increase access to outdoor spaces and career paths in the outdoor industry.

Since its founding in 2002, the VF Foundation has granted more than $73 million and supported nearly 15 million people globally. Its FY2024 programs ranged from disaster recovery in Maui to clean water initiatives in Kenya and Cambodia. “Together with our partners, we’re advancing a more active, sustainable and inclusive world,” said Gloria Schoch, Executive Director of The VF Foundation.
