The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) has joined the Advisory Council of the Centre for Sport and Human Rights (CSHR), based in Geneva. The CSHR is chaired by Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. The Centre is exclusively funded by donations from the members of its Advisory Council, which also include Adidas, Fifa and The Coca Cola Company, among others. The organization said that WFSGI has joined it to “coordinate efforts to promote responsible and sustainable practices in sporting goods internationally.”
