Cybex International booked a net loss of $278,000 in the third quarter ended Sept. 24, compared with a $15,000 loss a year earlier, but this was due mainly to a $1.4 million legal charge. Revenues increased by 14.5 percent to $33.5 million, but the gross margin declined by 0.8 percentage points to 35.1 percent.
