Cybex International swung to profit in the third quarter reporting net income of $1.08 million, compared with a loss of $278,000 for the corresponding period last year. The U.S. producer of exercise equipment had sales of $34.4 million, up from $33.5 million a year ago. For the nine months ended Sept. 29, net sales were $102.4 million, compared with $97.1 million for 2011. The net income for the nine months was $0.3 million, compared with a net loss of $0.5 million for the same period of 2011.
