Dakine has announced the launch of its first-ever surf apparel collection for spring 2015. The 35-year-old American outdoor brand is known for its backpacks, bags, gloves and accessories for surf, skate, snowboard, ski, mountain bike, windsurf and kite. The new line of surf apparel focuses on men's board shorts and juniors' swimwear in addition to woven, knit, flannel and fleece items. Additionally, Dakine has also expanded its collection of surf hardgoods and accessories for the spring with technical rash-guards and tops, outrigger bottoms, leashes, traction, bags and more. The spring 2015 surf offering will be sold at specialty shops globally and online as from February 2015. Dakine was acquired by San Francisco-based Altamont Capital Partners from Billabong in July 2013.
