Nathalie Jacquier has been appointed as marketing strategy and clients leader at Decathlon. The news was originally reported by LSA based on Jacquier’s own post on Linked In. Most recently, Jacquier worked for nearly three years at Carrefour as director of strategic marketing, brand and media, Carrefour France and group. Prior to that, she worked at the French advertising agency BETC, where she spent more than six years, including as general manager of the BETC Shopper unit for five years. The appointment comes on the heels of the arrival of Barbara Martin Coppola as Decathlon’s new CEO starting in mid-March, as also reported by SGI Europe.
