Decathlon is taking part in the development of My Cardinet, a shopping center due to open around the end of this year in Paris, where the French sports retailer has taken up a space of 1,500 square meters. The shopping center in the north-eastern area of Cardinet-Batignolles covers more than 10,000 square meters, with other key tenants including Carrefour and Leroy Merlin, a DIY store. Decathlon has just six stores in Paris, including a smaller Decathlon City store. The latest large-scale opening in the city was Decathlon Rosa Parks in 2016, with a surface of 4,600 square meters. Three other stores are situated just outside Paris.
