Decathlon, Timberland, Zara and about 20 other major international brands have signed exclusive partnership agreements with the Alibaba Group, establishing its Tmall.com website as the only third-party internet platform through which they will sell their products to consumers in China. In announcing these deals, Alibaba also said that it is deepening its non-exclusive relations with more than 160 other brands and retail banners, including Adidas and Gap.
