Décathlon will open a store with a floor space of more than 5,000 square meters in June in Ostrava, the third-largest city in the Czech Republic. It will be the country's largest sporting goods store. The record in terms of size had been held by a store of 3,700 m² run by Intersport Austria in central Prague, but this was before Décathlon opened its first store in the country last year. Located in Liberec, it measures 4,000 m².
