Decision-makers from governments and international organizations embraced sport as an investment for society when they met at the 7th edition of the Peace and Sport International Forum in Monte Carlo, on Nov. 6-8. Throughout the Forum, they expressed a shift in their vision of sport, stating that instead of being considered as a public expense, sport was gradually being seen as an investment for a better society and a tool for diplomatic dialogue. The event, organized by Peace and Sport, a Monaco-based international initiative, was attended by more than 700 delegates from 100 nations. H.S.H. Princess Charlène was saluted at the Forum as a new Peace and Sport ambassador.
