Deckers Brands, the owner of Hoka, Teva and other brands, has announced the promotion of Angela Ogbechie to the newly created chief supply chain officer role, effective June 24. Ogbechie has held various operational roles at Deckers since 2008 and served most recently as senior vice-president of global operations and supply chain strategy. She will oversee global supply chain operations and logistics organization in her new position. She will also become a member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to Dave Powers, chief executive officer and president of Deckers Brands. The company said that her promotion follows David Lafitte‘s decision to step down from his role as chief operating officer to pursue another opportunity. The supply chain functions that currently report to Lafitte will transition to the chief supply chain officer, while other functions will move to other managers on the Deckers’ executive team.
