Spanish sports e-tailer Deporvillage and Unipublic, the organizer of La Vuelta, have signed a collaboration agreement that makes the online sports equipment retailer the official online store of the most important race in the Spanish cycling calendar for the next three years. Deporvillage will sell the four leader’s jerseys made by Santini: Red - the leader’s jersey; the white jersey with blue dots classification jersey; the white jersey with blue dots classification jersey; and the white best young rider jersey. In addition, the e-tailer will be selling the kits of the teams participating in La Vuelta 2022, which has Deporvillage as the official store. Deporvillage has also been the official online retailer of licensed products for the Tour de France since July 2020. This year’s edition of La Vuelta will start next Aug. 19 in Utrecht and finish, after 21 stages, on Sept. 11 in Madrid. Deporvillage will have a car in the caravan and an activation area for fans in the starting areas. The new agreement with Unipublic also includes the collaboration as official shop of the Volta a Catalunya and the Itzulia (Tour of the Basque Country). Deporvillage recently revised its full-year sales target, as we reported on July 22, amid uncertainties in the economy and two quarters of flat sales.
