Descente is forecasting a 13 percent sales increase to 104 billion yen (€741.7m-$1,013.7) for its current financial year as it reports growth of 17 percent to ¥75.93 billion (€541.5m-$740.2m) for the nine months ended last Dec. 31. Operating income rose by 3.6 percent to ¥3.59 billion (€25.6m-$35.0m) for the nine-month period, leading to net income of ¥2.74 billion (€19.5m-$26.7m). For the full financial year, the Japanese company is budgeting an operating income of ¥6.0 billion (€42.8m-$58.5m) and net profit of ¥4.0 billion (€28.5m-$39.0m), down by 29 percent as compared to the previous year.
