Descente reported a net loss of ¥22 million yen (€0.17m-$0.23m) for the first quarter ended June 30, down from ¥95 million in the same period a year ago. Operating losses for the period declined by 7 percent to ¥258 million (€2.0m-$2.7m) as the Japanese company's revenues went up by 17 percent to ¥20.12 billion (€156.8m-$209.2m). Descente is forecasting an operating profit of about ¥6 billion (€46.8m-$62.4m) on sales of ¥104 billion (€810.4m-$1,081.2m) for the full financial year ending next March 31.
