Diadora is the new official supplier of Viking, the Norwegian football team based in Stavanger, under a contract for five seasons worth at least 4 million Norwegian kroner (€0.5m-$0.7m) per year. Adidas, which was the former sponsor of this team, has signed on as sponsor of Vålerenga Football. In Norway, Adidas is also sponsoring two other major football teams, Rosenborg and Odd-Grenland.
