Dougall Walker is named chief executive of Volcom Australia, replacing John Clapham who is returning to his native New Zealand to work for the company in that market. Xalker, 51, ran most recently Firewire Surfboards, an Australian company that he co-founded in 2005. He was president of Peak Wetsuits USA and then spent 18 years with Billabong International, last serving as general manager for Australasia. Clapham, 42, has been with Volcom since the U.S. company brought the brand to Australia in 1993.
