DP World Tour launches e-sport tournament

The DP World Tour is launching a new e-sport competition in partnership with Topgolf and DreamHack Sports Games. The new “eTour”, which will be open to playing from Aug. 31, is available to anyone who downloads the WGT by Topgolf mobile game, developed by DreamHack. The new competition will take place on a digital recreation of the Wolf Creek Golf Course in Nevada. The eTour will culminate in a live final hosted at DP World’s Flow Pavilion in Expo City, Dubai on Nov. 16, in the same week as the season-ending DP World Tour Championship on the DP World Tour. From Aug. 31 to Nov. 30, the WGT by Topgolf platform will also feature new DP World eTour branded apparel in its virtual store.
