Playtomic, which has made its name as a platform for racquet club management and court rentals, has inaugurated under its own brand a line of racquet-sports apparel and accessories and opened an e-commerce website to sell it. So far the site is operative only in Spain, but there are plans to open soon in Italy and later in the rest of the world. The face of its marketing campaign for the initiative is the tennis player turned commentator Álex Corretja. Playtomic is present at about 4,500 clubs in some 1,900 cities in 40 countries. Its active users exceed one million. In establishing the retail division the company has also inaugurated a new headquarters, in Madrid.
