Deporvillage has inaugurated three more e-commerce sites – for Denmark, the Netherlands and Poland. According to sales director Alex Reina, who has spoken with CMDsport, the Spanish specialist in cycling, running and outdoor sports believes that the Netherlands could become a key market in three to five years, as early as it is for market-share forecasts. Founded on e-commerce, the company has recently gone omnichannel, opening two physical stores – in the Spanish cities of Madrid (Alcorcón) and Granada. As things stand, it is looking to book an increase in annual revenues of about 8 percent, from €157 to €170 million.
