DyStar is setting up a new Global Innovation Center at its factory in Nanjing, China. The 3,000-square-meter facility will include state-of-the-art laboratories for research & development, process technology development and the synthesis and finish of dyes and chemicals for its textile and industrial segments. The new facility will also house a scale-up unit for small productions. Dystar said that in connection with the company's growth strategy, the activities of the new Global Innovation Center will not only focus on the textile industry, but also explore other segments for its new products. The inauguration of the Global Innovation Center is scheduled for March 2017.
