Ed Kinnaly has been appointed as chief executive of Bauer, Maverick and Cascade Brands at Peak Achievement Athletics (PAA), the successor company of the former Performance Sports Group, which emerged from bankruptcy proceedings earlier this year. PAA, which is owned by two private equity firms, Sagard Holdings and Fairfax Financials, has also announced the appointment of a new CEO, Anthony M. Palma, for the company's other main property, Easton Diamaond Sports. Kinnaly is a 13-year veteran of Bauer, where he served as executive vice president of global commerce and as general manager of Europe. A former manager of Nike and Adidas, he served most recently as president and CEO of Flywheel Sports. Palma rean the former Easton Sports and Easton Bell Sports during the 1990s and through 2008. For the last seven years he was the CEO of Ogio.
