Effective on Jan. 1, Puma will be the exclusive licensing partner of the Mercedes GP Petronas Formula One team, as well as its official Team Partner. Puma will provide the team with racewear, including its latest innovations in fireproof clothing, and will develop licensed products with the team for retail sale. In return, the brand will feature prominently on the team's 2012 racecar and on all race and teamwear products. The deal spans over several years, reinforcing the brand's involvement in motor sports.
