Effective Sept. 1, Christian Scheffold will quit as the head of the German operations of Skins to take on a new challenge in the industry. Until then he will be in charge of finding a successor as managing director of the subsidiary. The 46-year-old, formerly with Quiksilver, Timberland and New Balance, was appointed in January 2008 by the Australian company to set up operations for Central Europe.
