Elena Jasper will take over in April as exhibition director for Ispo Beijing and Ispo Shanghai at the main office of Messe München, taking the place of Paul März who left in December. The 33-year-old worked most recently as senior manager at Siemens in Munich, where she was responsible for communication projects and corporate events. She previously ran a social engagement program for DSGV, a German savings bank association, where she gained experience in sports sponsorship. She also collaborated in Munich's bid for the 2018 Olympics. Jasper speaks Chinese and has spent time in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, Oliver Wang, who has been previously responsible for Ispo Beijing and Ispo Shanghai at Messe München's office in Shanghai, will focus on launching and growing the Ispo Innovation platform and other year-round Ispo initiatives, tailoring them to the Asian market. Kevin Yang, who organized the participation of Chinese companies at Ispo Munich this year, will go back to work for Ispo Beijing and Ispo Shanghai. The management changes were announced in connection with the opening of this year's Ispo Beijing fair on Feb. 24, which is hosting 480 exhibitors representing around 700 brands. Several important companies and brands are making their debut at the fair including Dynafit, Icepeak, Kneissl, Kovea, Mueller Sports, 2XU, Ride and 361 Degrees.
