Monte Rosa Sport, owner of the Odlo, Henri-Lloyd and Janus brands, has appointed Daniel Eppler as new CEO of Odlo and Monte Rosa Sport, effective Jan. 1, 2023.
Eppler joins the group from Nike, where he currently serves as VP sales and partner management for Nike’s EMEA business. He succeeds present CEO Knut Are Høgberg, who joined Odlo in 2015 and first served as COO until 2018. He led the company through the change of ownership in 2020. Hugo Maurstad, chairman of the board of directors of Monte Rosa Sport, commented Høgberg’s contribution to the company: “Steady improvements in cost efficiency and gross margins, a focused product portfolio and geographic expansion have proven successful. As a result, we have a solid platform for further growth.”
