The European Commission is seeking sustainable fashion ideas. This year’s European Social Innovation Competition has the theme “Reimagine Fashion: Changing behaviors for sustainable fashion,” and is seeking early-stage initiatives to reduce fashion’s environmental footprint and improve its societal effects. Solutions must be scalable at the local, national or European levels. Up to €50,000 will be available for each of the three winning ideas. The competition is open to entrepreneurs, students, businesses and other operators from EU member states and countries associated with Horizon 2020. The application deadline is March 4. The jury will select the winning ideas in November.
