Eurobike, the European bicycle trade show held every September in Friedrichshafen, has developed what it claims is the cycling industry's first dedicated digital platform. Conceived by Scholz & Volkmer, an agency in Wiesbaden that develops systems for devices with screens, Eurobike Connect aims to supplant Google as the industry's main source of business information and connections. Day or night, users will be able set up a profile, make industry contacts, find and compare products, and present their companies. The concept grew out of a survey of international experts in the sector and their needs. Eurobike Connect will be launched in the near future. Early subscribers will get a 30 percent discount on the annual fee.
